Max Verstappen Reveals Red Bull’s Secret to Winning Historic Fifth F1 Title

Max Verstappen is confident that Red Bull’s experience and resilience will be key to securing a record-equaling fifth consecutive Formula 1 world championship in 2025.

The Dutch superstar clinched his fourth straight title in Las Vegas last November, joining an elite group of just five drivers in F1 history to achieve such dominance. Now, he has his sights set on matching Michael Schumacher’s legendary record of five consecutive championships.

Despite winning the 2024 title with a comfortable 63-point lead over McLaren’s Lando Norris, Red Bull failed to claim a third straight constructors’ championship. However, Verstappen remains optimistic about their chances this season.

“We are very experienced, and even when last year was tougher for us, we still managed to get the best results. That’s a big strength of the team.”

“I don’t know where we are right now. I think no one does. In a few weeks, we’ll have a better idea,” he explained.

The 27-year-old also dismissed speculation about Red Bull’s early-season performance, adding, “I haven’t driven my car yet, and no one has seen the other cars, so it’s pointless to guess. It’s good for the sport if the season is competitive, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Last month, reports surfaced suggesting Aston Martin was preparing a staggering £1 billion ($1.25 billion) offer to lure Verstappen away from Red Bull. However, Aston Martin’s new team principal, Andy Cowell, downplayed the rumors, insisting the team is fully committed to their current drivers.
