Students of the University of Jos have been evacuated from campus following rising insecurity in Jos, as tensions continue to mount after recent deadly attacks. The evacuation was ordered after authorities shut down the institution over safety concerns linked to renewed unrest in parts of the city. Students were seen leaving their hostels in groups, carrying their belongings as they moved toward safer locations.
