Action Alliance (AA) National Chairman, Hon. Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, has reaffirmed his leadership, dismissing any attempts to challenge his legitimacy. In a firm statement, Omoaje condemned alleged plans for an illegal national convention and reiterated that the expulsion of a certain party chieftain was legally executed and upheld by the courts.

“He remains permanently expelled and has no authority to act on behalf of Action Alliance,” Omoaje declared, addressing concerns about internal disputes.

Celebrating the party’s recent legal victories, he expressed gratitude to members for their unwavering support. “Our triumphs continue to resonate. With steadfast strategies and faith, we will overcome any challenges ahead,” he assured.

Omoaje emphasized that the party’s National Convention, held on October 7, 2023, at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, was fully compliant with the party’s constitution and supervised by INEC, cementing the legitimacy of the current National Executive Committee (NEC).

“No external influence can overturn this legally constituted leadership or override judicial rulings affirming our authority,” he stated.

Urging members to remain united, he warned against misinformation and attempts to destabilize the party.

“Action Alliance stands on integrity, democracy, and the rule of law—principles that no one can undermine. Our leadership is secure, our victories are valid, and our future is bright,” he concluded.
