Nigerian singer Naira Marley has finally broken his silence after a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, ruled that he, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy had no case to answer in connection with the tragic death of fellow artist, Mohbad.
The court’s decision, delivered on Tuesday, pointed to an auxiliary nurse and a close associate of Mohbad, Ayobami, as those facing prosecution for reckless and negligent acts leading to the singer’s demise.
Reacting to the ruling, Naira Marley took to his social media pages, sharing powerful verses from the Quran. One of the verses read:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3)”
Another post referenced divine justice, stating:
“They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners.”
The posts have sparked reactions online, as conversations surrounding Mohbad’s death and the legal battles continue to unfold.
