Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is back to full fitness and ready to return to action after a lengthy three-month recovery from a hamstring injury.

Saka, who underwent surgery for the injury suffered in December, is expected to feature in the Gunners’ upcoming Premier League clash against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

“Bukayo Saka is ready to go,” said Arteta. “We’ve followed the proper steps and respected the timeline for his recovery. He’s pushing hard because he’s eager to get back on the pitch. We’ve done everything to make sure he’s fit.”

Saka has been a key player for Arsenal this season, scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions. His return will undoubtedly boost the team’s attacking options as they look to maintain their strong position in the league.

However, Arteta also provided an update on defender Riccardo Calafiori, who is now sidelined with a knee injury sustained during Italy’s international match against Germany on March 20. “It could have been much worse,” Arteta remarked. “Hopefully, it will be just a matter of weeks, but we’ll have to monitor how the injury progresses.”

Arsenal currently sit second in the Premier League, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, with nine games left to play in the season.
