Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has debunked viral reports claiming he collapsed last week, calling them baseless and politically motivated.
Speaking on Thursday after inspecting ongoing projects in the capital, including the International Conference Centre (ICC), Wike dismissed the rumors as mere attempts to score cheap political points.
“People will say anything for attention. I am here, standing, working, and delivering on my mandate,” Wike stated, brushing aside concerns over his health.
The minister’s response comes after unverified social media reports suggested he had suffered a health scare, sparking speculation. However, Wike made it clear that he remains focused on his duties and urged the public to disregard the misinformation.
