Activist, Social Critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has once again stirred up political debate, this time attacking the governor of Benue State, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia. In a new viral video posted on his official Facebook page, VDM accused the governor of withholding payments worth ₦1.2 billion owed to car dealer Brims Autos.
According to VDM, Brims Autos had successfully supplied vehicles to the Benue State government, but months after delivery, the company allegedly has not received payment. In the video, he condemned what he described as an injustice against the company, emphasizing that no government should thwart a legitimate company after it has duly fulfilled its part of the agreement.

The activist’s video has since generated massive online reactions, with citizens outraged by the allegations. Many VDM supporters are demanding accountability and transparency, questioning why such a large debt remains unpaid in a state already facing economic hardship. Others argue that the matter damages the administration’s image and undermines confidence in governance.
So far, the Benue State Government has yet to issue an official response to the allegations. Meanwhile, pressure continues to mount on Governor Alia to address the situation and ensure Brims Autos receives its ₦1.2 billion without delay. The unfolding drama has become a recurring topic of conversation on both social media and in Benue’s political circles.
