Terror returned to Kwara State on Tuesday as armed terrorists invaded Isapa community in Ekiti Local Government Area, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers and several other residents.

Witnesses said between 20 and 30 gunmen stormed the area, moving with a large herd of cattle while firing shots indiscriminately. During the attack, a stray bullet hit an elderly woman, leaving her injured.

A community leader who spoke to *National Pilot* confirmed that 11 people were taken away, including seven members of the same family. Those abducted include Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (a housewife), Fatima Yusufu (a housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (a nursing mother) and Haja Na Allah.

The attackers reportedly fled through bush paths linking Eruku to neighbouring communities, plunging Isapa residents into fear and uncertainty.

The incident occurred barely two weeks after bandits attacked Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), abducting 38 worshippers— all of whom have since been rescued.

The latest assault has heightened concerns over escalating insecurity across communities in Kwara State.
