His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has inaugurated construction of the Rahama Clinic Road, a strategic road project in Makurdi, the state capital.
The road connects Gyado Villa Street on one side and the Bolek Gas Station corridor along the Makurdi-Gboko Highway on the other. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly open up the entire Bnarda Ward community, facilitating vehicular traffic and improving accessibility and mobility within the area.
The Rahama Clinic Road project is part of Governor Alia’s broader commitment to infrastructure development and urban renewal, aimed at improving the living conditions of residents and supporting economic activity in the state capital.
Residents have welcomed the development, describing it as a long-awaited project that will boost connectivity, reduce travel time, and increase the value of the surrounding neighborhoods.
With projects like this, the Alia administration continues to demonstrate its focus on people-centered development and sustainable infrastructure throughout Benue State.
