An EJIFA commercial vehicle carrying passengers from Abuja to Otukpo was completely destroyed by fire following a sudden incident on the road, witnesses told NewsBino.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out while the vehicle was in motion, causing panic among the passengers. The driver stopped immediately, allowing all occupants to disembark before the flames spread.
The vehicle was ultimately reduced to ashes, but no fatalities or injuries were reported. Passengers reportedly escaped with few personal belongings as the fire rapidly intensified.
At the time of writing, the cause of the fire is unknown, and no official statement has been received from the transport company or relevant authorities. An investigation is expected to be conducted to determine the circumstances of the incident.
