In a remarkable display of purposeful leadership and commitment to grassroots development, the Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Sunday Oche, has once again demonstrated his passion for youth empowerment by distributing generators and other vital business equipment to industrious youths within the local government.
One of the beneficiaries of this noble gesture, Mr. Sunday Ikor (popularly known as Don Sunday), expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and the hardworking Local Government Chairman, Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche, for coming to his aid at a very critical time.
According to Mr. Ikor, he had heard numerous testimonies about the Chairman’s generosity, compassion, and unwavering support for the people, especially youths striving for economic independence. However, he never imagined that he would personally benefit from such life-changing support.
Mr. Ikor narrated how he had been struggling to raise funds to purchase a small generator to improve his shoe-making business. While still searching for means, God used Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche to surprise him with a much bigger and more powerful generator than he ever imagined. Overwhelmed with joy, he thanked God for using the Chairman as an instrument of blessing in his life.
While presenting the items to the beneficiaries, Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche addressed the youths and reaffirmed that under the administration of Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, more empowerment programs and business support initiatives would continue to reach hardworking and deserving individuals across the state. He emphasized that this intervention aligns perfectly with the Governor’s transformative agenda aimed at economic growth, self-reliance, and poverty reduction.
The Chairman further noted that Mr. Sunday Ikor is a loyal party member and a strong supporter of the Governor, stressing that dedication, loyalty, and hard work will always be recognized and encouraged.
This laudable initiative by Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche stands as a testament to visionary leadership, people-centered governance, and genuine commitment to empowering the next generation.
