A distressing incident was shared by a social media user, detailing an attack on their maternal home in Mbagena, Katsina-Ala Local Government, Benue State. Fulani herdsmen allegedly invaded the farm, allowing their cattle to feed on harvested corn, with the user’s uncle’s wife present.

The post sparked outrage, with the writer expressing helplessness and referencing a local phrase, “KWAGH U ALU LA ALU”. The incident has raised concerns about insecurity in Benue State.

“Yesterday afternoon, the Fulani terrorist went to my maternal home in Mbagena, kpav, Mba-mtsar, Michihe Council ward of Katsina ALA Local Government. They asked my Uncle’s wife who was harvesting her corn (Soghun bicola) to step aside and allow their cows feed on our harvest.

I saw these pictures and could not sleep. If i was there, i would have declared KWAGH U ALU LA ALU.

God help Benue State.
