Tribute to the Ufia Kingdom by Udonu Maxwell CEO Udonu Webtech Consultancy
Today, we pay our deepest respects to the Ufia kingdom, a community united in grief. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of the 14 precious souls lost in the tragic motor accident on February 15, 2025.
We honor the memory of those who departed too soon, leaving behind a trail of tears, anguish, and despair. May their souls rest in eternal peace with the Lord, and may we reunite with them at the resurrection.
We salute the resilience and solidarity of the Ufia community, who have come together to support one another in this darkest of hours. Special recognition goes to Destiny Okpali, National Chairman of the Ufia Youth Forum (UYF), and the leadership of the Lagos state chapter of UYF, and the Ufia Development Association (UDA), for their exemplary leadership and dedication.
As we mourn, we take solace in our faith, giving thanks to God in all circumstances. We pray that He comforts the families directly affected, and the entire Ufia kingdom, granting us the strength to bear this unbearable loss.
As we proceed with the candlelight night today, 20th February, 2025, we remember the lives of our departed brothers and sisters, and we pray that their memories continue to inspire and guide us.
Tribute Song
“Echoes of Memories” by Udonu Maxwell
“In the silence, we hear your voice
Whispers of memories, a heartfelt choice
To hold on to the laughter, the tears, the pain
And cherish every moment, every memory that remains
May your souls rest in peace, dear departed ones
May your memories live on, forever in our hearts, forever in our songs”
Final Thoughts
May the Ufia kingdom find strength in unity, comfort in faith, and hope in the resilience of our dear community.
