Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has cast his vote in the ongoing local government elections, commending the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) for ensuring a smooth and peaceful process.

Adeleke, who voted at Unit 9, Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Ede North Local Government Area, arrived at the polling unit around 7:56 a.m., accompanied by supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Speaking after casting his vote, the governor encouraged residents to come out en masse and exercise their civic rights without fear, emphasizing the need for a violence-free election.

“I urge everyone to come out and cast their votes. The election will be peaceful,” Adeleke assured, expressing confidence in a sweeping victory for PDP candidates.
