The much-anticipated legal showdown between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and gospel music mogul Ezekiel Onyedikachi, better known as EeZee Tee, has hit a temporary pause.

A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, postponed EeZee Tee’s arraignment on Thursday, citing administrative procedures. Justice Alexander Owoeye, who presided over the session, adjourned the case to May 14, 2025.

The case, which stems from financial and contractual disputes involving renowned gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, has captured widespread public interest. EeZee Tee, who was present in court, has continued to assert his innocence, while his legal team remains optimistic about a positive resolution.

With the new court date set, all eyes are now on the next phase of the legal battle. Stay tuned for more updates as the story unfolds.
