Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, born Oluwatosin Ajibade, is grieving the loss of his mother, Ifeoma Ajibade, whose passing he announced in an emotional tribute on Instagram.

Describing her as his “greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan,” the 33-year-old singer expressed gratitude for her unwavering love, sacrifices, and guidance.

“Thank you, Mummy, for your strength, your sacrifices, your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God,” he wrote. “You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.”
