Taking place next week in Abuja, the workshop will equip 50 solar-focused SMEs with essential business, financial, and technical skills to thrive in the booming renewable energy industry.
Participants will dive deep into the off-grid solar value chain, learning about quality assurance, environmental and social risk management, innovative business models, and funding opportunities—including access to ROGEAP grants and credit lines.
The training will cover key areas such as:

Business model development and financial access strategies
According to Salamatu Baba Tunzwang, ESF Team Lead at ROGEAP, industry experts from ROGEAP, Ecobank, and other key players will lead the sessions, ensuring an impactful learning experience tailored to SME needs.
Tunde Dawodu, Divisional Head, FCT/North at Ecobank Nigeria, emphasized the workshop’s value, stating:
“This initiative aligns perfectly with our Ellevate Program and Single Market Trade Hub, offering SMEs customized financial products, digital tools, and expert guidance to scale their businesses and tap into larger markets.”
