In a bid to strengthen national unity and grassroots mobilization, Morris Monye, the Director of Mobilization for the Obidient Movement, led a delegation to the Emir of Kano, engaging in discussions on democratic participation, youth empowerment, and Nigeria’s future.
The Emir warmly received the delegation, underscoring the importance of peace and inclusive governance in the country’s democratic journey.
Iftar with Obidients in Kano
Following the royal visit, Monye joined Obidient supporters in Kano for Iftar, sharing in the spirit of Ramadan and fostering community solidarity. Addressing the gathering, he urged them to stay committed to the movement’s vision of good governance, transparency, and accountable leadership.
“This movement is beyond politics—it’s about securing a better Nigeria for everyone,” Monye emphasized.
