A UK teenager who brutally murdered his mother and two siblings before plotting a school massacre has been sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 49 years behind bars.

Nicholas Prosper, 18 at the time of the killings, slaughtered his mother, Juliana Falcon (48), his 13-year-old sister, Giselle, and his 16-year-old brother, Kyle, in their Luton home in September 2024. Armed with a shotgun and knives, Prosper inflicted over 100 stab wounds on Kyle before executing his sinister plan.

According to prosecutors, Prosper had a chilling ambition: to surpass the infamous US school shootings at Sandy Hook and Virginia Tech. He allegedly wanted to be remembered as “the world’s most famous school shooter of the 21st century.”

Twisted Plans Exposed

Prosper meticulously planned a mass shooting at his former primary school, St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, where he intended to kill dozens of young children and teachers before taking his own life.

His plan was derailed when his mother woke up before he could carry out the killings in their sleep, leading to a violent struggle that alerted neighbors. When police arrived, they discovered a book titled “How to Kill Your Family” placed on his mother’s lifeless body.

“You sought to outdo Adam Lanza, the shooter behind the Sandy Hook massacre. Your goal was 34 deaths—one more than the Virginia Tech tragedy,” Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb stated during sentencing.

A Disturbing Online Trail

Investigators uncovered a digital trail revealing Prosper’s obsession with mass murderers, serial killers, and violent criminals. He had even filmed himself reenacting the attack in his kitchen.

Despite being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the court found that Prosper knew exactly what he was doing and showed no remorse.

“You remain highly dangerous, and it may be that you will never be released,” the judge added.

A Family’s Devastation

The sentencing brought no solace to the victims’ grieving father, Ray Prosper, who said, “The pain of our loss will never heal. We have lost four family members in this tragedy.”

Bedfordshire Police Assistant Chief Constable John Murphy described the case as “utterly shocking and appalling.”

With no chance of parole for nearly five decades, Prosper will spend the rest of his youth behind bars—his twisted dream of notoriety shattered.
