Confirming the arrest, NACOC’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and International Relations, Francis Amoah, stated that Chima has long been on the agency’s radar and is believed to be linked to previous drug trafficking operations in Ghana.

Amoah emphasized that removing such a large quantity of drugs from circulation is a major victory in the fight against illicit drug trade, potentially saving countless lives.
