Tragedy in Lagos: Man Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Wife in Domestic Dispute

A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Lagos as a 38-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband in Oke-Ira, Ilogbo Eremi, Badagry.

Confirming the incident, Lagos State Police spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin revealed that detectives from the Morogbo Division swiftly responded to a distress call on Wednesday, leading to the arrest of the suspect at the crime scene.

“A blood-stained kitchen knife was recovered from him, and he has since confessed to the crime,” Hundeyin stated.

Authorities have transferred the victim’s body to the Badagry General Hospital morgue while investigations continue. The case will be handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for further proceedings.
