The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a stern warning to the public about fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online. In a statement released on its official X handle on Friday, NNPCL clarified that it is not currently hiring and cautioned job seekers to beware of deceptive schemes.
The company stressed that any official job openings would be communicated exclusively through its verified channels, including its website and official social media platforms. “NNPC Limited is not recruiting at this time. Official recruitment announcements will only be made through our website and verified social media platforms,” the statement read.
NNPCL reassured Nigerians that its recruitment process is transparent, merit-based, and requires no external assistance. The company urged the public to ignore any unofficial job ads that claim to be linked to NNPCL, as they are likely scams designed to deceive and defraud job seekers.
In closing, NNPCL emphasized its commitment to upholding the integrity of its hiring process and vowed to notify the public when recruitment officially begins. “Always verify information from our official platforms to avoid falling victim to scams,” the company advised, urging individuals to report any suspicious recruitment ads to the relevant authorities.
Stay vigilant and ensure you’re only engaging with legitimate sources to avoid being misled by fraudsters!
