Shock and sadness gripped Solution One Hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State, as its supervisor, Mr. Adedokun Oluyemi, was found dead in his sleep under unclear circumstances.

According to the Ogun State Police Command, Oluyemi’s lifeless body was discovered around 6 a.m. on Saturday by a bar assistant, Taiyelolu, who had repeatedly tried to reach him. When knocking on his door yielded no response, Taiyelolu forced it open—only to find Oluyemi unresponsive on the bed.

Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirmed that there were no visible signs of violence on the deceased’s body. Emergency responders rushed him to the State Hospital in Ijaye, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

While the cause of death remains unknown, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further examination. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his sudden passing.

The Ogun State Police have assured the public of a thorough investigation while extending condolences to Oluyemi’s family and colleagues. They also emphasized the importance of regular medical checkups for employees in high-pressure work environments.
