King Charles III has temporarily stepped back from official engagements after experiencing mild side effects from his ongoing cancer treatment, Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday.

Following a routine treatment session in the morning, the 76-year-old monarch was briefly observed in a hospital before returning home to Clarence House. As a precaution, his engagements for Thursday afternoon and Friday have been postponed.

Though the palace assured the public that the king’s condition is stable, reports indicate this was a minor setback in his recovery. He remains active, working from home on state matters and making official calls.

Despite personal and health hurdles, Charles remains dedicated to his role, determined to balance his recovery with the responsibilities of the crown.
