Tinubu Orders Security Agencies to Track Down Killers Behind Plateau Attacks

President Bola Tinubu has ordered security agencies to immediately track down those responsible for the recent brutal killings in Plateau State communities, vowing that those behind these attacks will face the full force of the law.

The President expressed outrage over the violent incidents in Plateau, where several villages, including Ruwi, Hurti, Tadai, Manguna, and Dafo, were targeted by armed assailants, resulting in tragic loss of lives and widespread destruction. He emphasized that such attacks have no place in the country, especially as his administration continues to push for peace and stability across Nigeria.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu condemned the senseless violence, stressing that the government is committed to ensuring the safety of every Nigerian citizen. “These attacks on defenseless communities are unacceptable. We will work tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure they face severe punishment under the law,” he declared.

The President extended his deepest condolences to the victims’ families and the people of Plateau State, especially the communities of Bokkos Local Government. He also called for increased cooperation between the affected communities and security agencies to aid in the swift capture of the attackers.

Further, Tinubu instructed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to assist state authorities in providing immediate relief to the victims and support the rebuilding efforts in the affected areas.

In his statement, the President reaffirmed his commitment to protecting all Nigerians and vowed that the ongoing efforts to restore peace in the country would not be derailed. “This attack will not stop us from our mission to secure and protect every citizen. We will continue to fight against the forces of evil wherever they hide,” he said, urging Nigerians to unite in fostering peace and rejecting violence.

He also called on citizens to embrace the shared humanity that binds all Nigerians, urging peace over retaliation, and reaffirmed that this government will not rest until justice is served.
