Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared an extraordinary prophecy: one day, the church’s governing council will hold a meeting on the moon. Speaking at the April edition of the Holy Ghost Congress, the 83-year-old preacher spoke with unwavering confidence, even as the idea may seem far-fetched to some.
“I know it might sound unbelievable, but I’m not doubting God. He told me, and I told my people, that a time is coming when the RCCG Governing Council will hold their meeting on the moon. I know it doesn’t make sense, but that’s God for you,” Adeboye said, acknowledging that the prophecy defies human understanding.
The revered pastor also reminisced about a past revelation from God, where he was told he would own a city, even when he was living in a modest single-room apartment in Mushin, Lagos. “He told me not to ask for a house but to build a city. I was just a man living in a room in Mushin. When I shared this with those around me, they all laughed. They’re still laughing, but now they see what God is doing,” he recalled.
Adeboye emphasized that while God’s promises may seem illogical at times, they will always come to fruition in His perfect timing. With faith in the divine, the pastor’s words remind believers that no dream is too big when it comes to God’s plans.
