FC Barcelona midfielder Pablo Páez Gavira (Gavi) will be out for four to five months following Barcelona Gavi knee surgery on his right knee. The procedure was carried out on September 23, 2025, at Hospital de Barcelona.

Gavi was treated for a medial meniscus tear, the same knee injured in his 2023 ACL rupture. Surgeons also found additional cartilage and ligament damage, which extended his recovery timeline.
