Sunderland shock Chelsea in one of the biggest Premier League surprises of the season. The Black Cats defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on October 25, 2025, thanks to Jack Clarke’s 94th-minute winner that turned the match on its head.

Chelsea took an early lead through Cole Palmer’s neat finish in the 22nd minute after combining with Noni Madueke. The Blues dominated the first half but missed several chances, with Pedro Neto hitting the bar and Nicolas Jackson heading wide.
