Social commentator Very Dark Man (VDM) has narrated the events that led to a physical altercation between him and entertainer Mr Jollof aboard a United Airline aircraft on Sunday morning, November 17.
In a video shared on his social media handle shortly after the incident, VDM claimed that he confronted Mr Jollof upon sighting him on the flight, telling him, “Today you go slap me.” According to him, the confrontation quickly escalated.
VDM alleged that Mr Jollof threw the first punch, prompting him to retaliate. He further claimed that the entertainer resorted to biting during the scuffle.
“I don chop Jollof fada for inside plane. Man wey dey bite, e no shame. I enter plane, I see am, naim I tell am say today you go slap me oo. I go near am, naim e punch me. When I follow am, e start to bite me…him eye red,” VDM said.
Another video circulating online shows both men engaged in a heated fight inside the aircraft as passengers and airline staff attempted to separate them.
United Airline officials have not yet issued a formal statement on the incident, which caused momentary disruption before the flight proceeded.
