Insiders reveal that MOB Integrated Services’ property was used to secure a loan for DDSS International Company Limited in 2019—without the owner’s consent. The property had previously backed a fully repaid N193 million loan in 2013, raising concerns about fraudulent banking practices.
Court documents allege that Access Bank officials Bukola Shoyombo and Oreoluwa Roy-Egbokhan approved the loan, intended for luxury car financing, despite missing legal ownership of the collateral.
Facing prosecution are Access Bank MD Bolaji Agbede, Balmoral MD Adejare Adegbenro, and DDSS International. The Lagos State Government has charged them with conspiracy, stealing, and attempted theft under Sections 411 and 21 of the Lagos Criminal Law, 2015.
Justice Ibironke Harrison of the Lagos High Court has issued arrest warrants after the defendants failed to appear in court. The next hearing is set for February 24, 2025.
