NYSC Increases Corps Members’ Allowance to N77,000 Starting February 2025

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, has announced that corps members will receive a new monthly allowance of N77,000 beginning February 2025.

Speaking to the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream II corps members in Katsina State on Thursday, Ahmed confirmed that the increment has been included in the 2025 Federal Government budget and will take effect once the budget is passed.

The salary adjustment is expected to boost the welfare of corps members and align with the government’s efforts to support Nigerian youths.
