Azeez Oshoala, media entrepreneur and brother of Nigerian football star Asisat Oshoala, has officially declared his ambition to become the next chairman of Ikorodu Local Government under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming Lagos State local government elections.
Speaking at his campaign office in Ikorodu, Oshoala emphasized the importance of youthful leadership, highlighting energy, innovation, and a fresh perspective as key factors for progress.
“I have widely consulted with leaders and stakeholders who believe in my vision for Ikorodu. My aspiration is not about power or financial gain—it’s about service, unlocking potential, and driving development for the people,” he said.
With two master’s degrees from international institutions and membership in several professional bodies, Oshoala promised to introduce life-changing programs that will benefit both residents and indigenes of Ikorodu.
His campaign signals a new wave of leadership, with a commitment to community-driven growth and impactful governance.
