Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially parted ways with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), fueling speculation about his next political destination.
The former PDP governorship candidate for Lagos State made the announcement on Monday, March 3, 2025, during a media briefing at his Ikeja office. However, he remained tight-lipped about his reasons for leaving or his future political plans.
Jandor, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) member and leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, switched to the PDP in 2022, where he secured the party’s governorship ticket for the 2023 elections. He ultimately finished third, behind Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (APC) and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (Labour Party).
His departure adds another twist to the ever-evolving political landscape in Lagos, with many now watching closely to see his next move.
