Tragic End: Police Uncover Burial Site of Missing LASU Graduate, Main Suspect in Custody

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of the burial site of Adedamola Ogunbode, a Lagos State University (LASU) graduate who went missing on January 16, 2025.

According to police spokesperson CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the grave was found near the LASU area, contradicting earlier rumors that the body was buried in a church compound. Authorities are set to exhume the remains as investigations continue.

The breakthrough came after the arrest of Olaoluwa Ajisomo, the prime suspect in the case. Ajisomo, apprehended in the Alakuko area, is believed to have played a key role in Ogunbode’s disappearance. Police reports indicate that he accessed and emptied the victim’s bank account using his mobile phone.

The case has sparked widespread concern, with many demanding justice for the slain graduate. Investigations are ongoing as the police work to uncover the full details behind the gruesome crime.
