The drama only escalated from there. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) called Crockett’s comments “shameful” and even attempted to link her remarks to anti-Tesla protests. Meanwhile, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, Sen. John Cornyn, and conservative firebrands like Rudy Giuliani and Charlie Kirk have all joined the chorus of condemnation.
