Brazil defeated Senegal 2-0 in an international friendly at the Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday. The victory was thanks to goals from Chelsea’s 18-year-old Estevan Willian and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.
Willian opened the scoring in the 28th minute with his third goal for the national team. Seven minutes later, Casemiro doubled the lead, ending his streak of scoring in 963 days of international matches.
The match also saw an injury to Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalias, who was ruled out in the second half after picking up a lower leg injury, raising concerns about his availability for club action.
Brazil dominated possession and tested Senegal’s defense with their attacking depth. As Brazil prepares for the upcoming international competition, the victory is building momentum.
