The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed strong confidence in the electoral strength of the All Progressives Congress, stating that the party remains the most capable of securing victory in both Kano and across Nigeria in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing a large crowd of supporters upon his return from Abuja, the governor emphasized that the APC possesses the political structure and widespread backing needed to outperform rival parties, including the African Democratic Congress.

He dismissed claims about political uncertainty surrounding his tenure, maintaining that his administration remains focused and well-positioned for continuity beyond a single term.

The governor highlighted ongoing efforts by his government to improve key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth development, noting that these initiatives would continue to benefit residents.

Abba Kabir Yusuf also reaffirmed his support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging that Kano State would stand firmly behind the President’s re-election ambition in 2027.

He encouraged eligible citizens to take part in the electoral process by registering with the Independent National Electoral Commission and obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the polls.

In his remarks, Kano APC Chairman Umar Doguwa said the overwhelming turnout of supporters during the governor’s reception reflects growing public confidence in the administration.
