Speaking during the protest, the leaders accused INEC of acting in favour of the ruling party and warned against any attempt to weaken the country’s electoral process.

They emphasised that the demonstration was aimed at defending democratic values and ensuring transparency in Nigeria’s electoral system.

The protest comes amid an ongoing leadership crisis within the ADC, following INEC’s decision to derecognise factions within the party based on a recent court ruling.

Disagreements over party leadership have deepened divisions, with different groups laying claim to control of the party structure.
