The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has activated the portal for candidates to print their examination slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In an announcement released on Thursday, the board urged all registered candidates to access their slips online ahead of the exam schedule.

According to the examination body, the slip contains essential information, including the candidate’s examination date, venue, and time, all of which are required for entry into the exam hall.

Candidates have been directed to visit the official portal and follow the instructions provided to download and print their slips without delay.

The board also addressed a misleading notice circulating online, which claimed that the examination had been postponed. It dismissed the report as false and advised candidates to ignore such information.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to run between April 16 and April 25 across accredited centres nationwide.

Earlier, the board conducted a mock examination to test its systems and readiness. While the exercise recorded participation from thousands of candidates, some centres experienced technical challenges, leading to their removal from the approved list.

In addition, the examination body warned candidates to stay away from individuals or platforms promising to manipulate scores. It described such activities as fraudulent and warned that anyone found involved risks serious penalties, including result cancellation.

Candidates are encouraged to complete all necessary preparations ahead of the examination period and rely only on official communication from the board.
