“Trump’s Fiery Strike: U.S. Hits Houthis, Sends Iran a Stern Warning”

In a dramatic escalation of tensions, the United States, under President Donald Trump, launched a powerful military strike against Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels. The move came after relentless Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping, which the White House has labeled as acts of piracy and terrorism.

“They have waged an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism,” Trump declared, vowing to unleash “overwhelming lethal force” until the threat is neutralized. The attack, which targeted dozens of Houthi military installations—including missile sites, radar systems, and air defenses—marks a significant shift in U.S. policy.

Meanwhile, Iran’s top military commander, Major General Hossein Salami, fired back, stating, “We are not a nation to live in hiding. If we attack, the world will know.” While he stopped short of confirming Iranian retaliation, he warned of a “decisive and devastating response” if Iran perceives a threat.

The strikes reportedly killed at least 31 people and wounded over 100 others, including women and children, Yemeni health officials reported. The attack has sparked a global debate on whether the U.S. is drawing dangerously close to direct conflict with Iran.

National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, in an interview with ABC, emphasized that the Biden administration’s past responses were “feckless” and that Trump’s strike was an “overwhelming response” that successfully eliminated multiple Houthi leaders. When asked if Iran could face direct military action, Waltz sent a chilling message: “All options are on the table.”

With Trump vowing that Iran “cannot have a nuclear weapon” and Iran standing its ground, the world watches as a new era of geopolitical tension unfolds. Is this a decisive move against terrorism, or is the U.S. walking a fine line toward another Middle Eastern war?
