In a bold and precise operation, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have uncovered a stash of cocaine ingeniously concealed inside the walls of several suitcases—crafted so seamlessly, it looked like part of the factory design.

Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, revealed the shocking discovery via a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The footage captures agents carefully slicing through the suitcase linings to reveal the hard drugs cleverly tucked between the layers.

Sharing the footage, Babafemi remarked on the smugglers’ sophisticated effort and attention to detail, saying,

“Strewing the walls of suitcases in factory-fitting precision with cocaine must have taken a lot of effort and resources—but in the end, NDLEA officers still uncovered it all.”

The bust showcases a growing trend among drug traffickers who are stepping up their concealment tactics. But with the NDLEA tightening its grip and staying ahead with sharp detection methods, traffickers continue to hit a brick wall.

While the agency has yet to confirm the exact location and identities involved in the seizure, the video is already stirring conversations online, with many praising the NDLEA’s vigilance and precision.

This latest bust is a reminder: No matter how sleek the smuggle, the law is always watching.
