The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Sunny Oche, has felicitated his Ogbadibo counterpart, Comrade Sunday Ameh Ajunwa, on his two-year-in-office thanksgiving celebration and birthday anniversary. The Leader of the Ado Legislative House, Hon. Agbo Adadu, represented Engr. Oche at the twin events.
The celebration, held at Comrade Ajunwa’s residence in Otukpa, attracted political associates, dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers. The event commenced with a church service, followed by a reception at the Chairman’s residence. It also provided an opportunity for reflection on the two-year journey of the 23 Local Government Chairmen who assumed office on the same day.
Speaking through his representative, Engr. Oche commended Comrade Ajunwa for his dedication to public service and commitment to grassroots development. He described the milestone as an opportunity to appreciate achievements, reflect on challenges, and renew the commitment to delivering meaningful development to the people of Ogbadibo.
The Ado Chairman further emphasised the importance of unity, mutual consultation, and cooperation among Local Government Chairmen in addressing common challenges and advancing development. He encouraged Comrade Ajunwa to sustain this spirit of partnership and remain focused on people-oriented policies, effective service delivery, and initiatives that promote peace and progress.
On the occasion of his birthday, Engr. Oche wished Comrade Ajunwa good health, divine wisdom, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments. He prayed for continued guidance and success in his service to humanity, expressing confidence that the years ahead would bring greater achievements and strengthen his contributions to the development of Ogbadibo Local Government Area and Benue State.
