Victor Osimhen stole the show on Friday night with a breathtaking overhead kick in stoppage time, giving Galatasaray a thrilling 3-2 victory over Samsunspor in the Turkish Super League. The Nigerian striker scored twice in one of the most dramatic finishes of the season.
Galatasaray started the match strongly, with Leroy Sané scoring the first goal in the eighth minute. The hosts didn’t give up, and Osimhen doubled the lead before the half-hour mark, capitalizing on Sané’s fluid run.
Samsunspor fought back in the second half. Anthony Musaba scored in the 56th minute, giving the visitors hope. Their pressure paid off late in the match, when Emre Kilinç equalized in the 88th minute, stunning the hosts.
Osimhen, however, had the final say. In the middle of stoppage time, he unleashed a spectacular bicycle kick that sealed the victory for the goalkeeper, securing the three points for Galatasaray and sparking wild celebrations among the fans.
This victory keeps Galatasaray atop the Turkish Super Lig with 36 points from 15 matches, while Samsunspor remains in fifth place with 25 points.
