In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the mandate given to the victorious candidates as a sacred trust that must be honoured through responsible leadership and genuine service to the people.

Tinubu commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for what he described as remarkable achievements in the territory, noting that the visible developments recorded under his leadership have translated into significant political gains for the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He also congratulated the national leadership of the APC, alongside the party’s leadership structures in Kano and Rivers states, for their successful outings at the polls.
