Court Upholds PDP’s Expulsion of South-East Vice Chairman, Ali Odefa

A Federal High Court in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, has affirmed the expulsion of Chief Ali Odefa, the former National Vice Chairman (South-East) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Delivering judgment in Suit No: FHC/CS/AI/227/2024, Justice Hilary I. O. Oshomah upheld Odefa’s expulsion, validating all reliefs sought in the case.

Odefa was expelled from the PDP on December 12, 2024, by the party’s Oguduokwor Ward Executive following a disciplinary committee’s recommendation. The committee found him guilty of engaging in anti-party activities, leading to his removal from the party.
