Ondo State has officially ushered in a new leadership as Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa was sworn in as the 7th governor of the state in a grand ceremony held at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure.

Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office at exactly 12:59 PM, following the swearing-in of his deputy, Olayide Adelami. The historic event was attended by political heavyweights, including APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and former Ondo State Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.

Also present were former Osun State Governors Chief Bisi Akande and Chief Olusegun Osoba, Minister of Youth Development Hon. Ayodele Olawande, as well as past and present members of the National Assembly and Ondo State Executive Council.

With the official transition now complete, all eyes are on Aiyedatiwa as he takes charge of the state’s affairs, setting the tone for his administration in the months ahead.
