President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s determination to eradicate banditry and terrorism across Nigeria, pledging strong support for the armed forces and security agencies in their operations.

Speaking in Yola on Monday during the commissioning of projects led by Adamawa State Governor Umaru Fintiri, Tinubu commended the military for their dedication to restoring peace and security. He urged citizens to cooperate with governors and security officials to foster stability and development in their regions.

“We are grateful to the Nigerian armed forces for their unwavering commitment to freeing Nigeria from banditry and insurgency. Together, we will succeed,” Tinubu said, adding that his leadership remains dedicated to service and national development.

The President also praised Governor Fintiri for the ongoing projects in Adamawa State, highlighting their contribution to regional growth and progress.

In addition, Tinubu lauded National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, a native of Adamawa State and former EFCC chairman, for his role in strengthening national security. He described Ribadu as “honest, bold, courageous, and committed,” noting that his efforts are pivotal in combating the country’s security challenges.

“With Ribadu’s dedication, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists. He is doing an excellent job, and Adamawa State, like the entire nation, can be proud of his service,” the President added.
