… __Reaffirms Commitment to Unity and Development_
The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Oche Sunday Oche, has formally announced his decision to withdraw from the 2027 House of Representatives contest for Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
According to the Chairman, the decision was reached after extensive consultations with party leaders, stakeholders, and trusted associates, as well as deep personal reflection and prayers. He explained that the move was made in the overriding interest of party cohesion, unity, and the collective progress of the Federal Constituency.
Hon. Oche expressed profound appreciation to the people of Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo for the overwhelming support, encouragement, prayers, and confidence reposed in him since the declaration of his intention to contest the election. He noted that their sacrifices, loyalty, and belief in the movement would never be taken for granted.
The Chairman emphasised that the interest of the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains paramount and called on party faithful and supporters across the Federal Constituency to remain united and committed toward ensuring total victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
While reaffirming his unwavering loyalty to the administration of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, PhD, Executive Governor of Benue State, Hon. Oche stated that unity under the leadership of the Governor remains critical to attracting more development and opportunities to Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
He further clarified that withdrawing from the contest does not in any way amount to withdrawing from service to the people, stressing that he remains fully committed to people-oriented projects, empowerment programmes, and developmental initiatives as Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area.
Hon. Oche also appreciated the solidarity and trust extended to him by the people of Okpokwu and Ogbadibo, assuring them that the bond built over the years transcends politics and elections. He urged his supporters and political associates to remain calm, steadfast, and united, assuring them that the future remains bright for the Federal Constituency.
The Chairman concluded by praying for continued peace, unity, and progress in Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency and reiterated his commitment to the advancement of the people.
