North Texas Freezes Over: School Closures and Delays Amid Arctic Blast!

North Texans woke up to an icy reality on Wednesday, February 19, as bone-chilling temperatures gripped the region, prompting WFAA to declare a Weather Alert Day for both Wednesday and Thursday. The extreme cold forced some school districts to shut their doors, while others opted for delayed start times—or braved the cold and remained open.
