Real Madrid’s rising star, Endrick, has opened up about the challenges of securing playing time in his debut season with the European giants.

A Tough Start at the Bernabéu

Joining a club as prestigious as Real Madrid is a dream for any young player, but for 18-year-old Endrick, it’s also been a test of patience. With an attack stacked with world-class talent—including Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Rodrygo—opportunities have been scarce for the Brazilian forward.

Despite limited minutes, Endrick has proven his worth when given the chance. In just 401 minutes of action, he has scored five goals, averaging one every 80 minutes. He also made a crucial impact in the Copa del Rey, netting twice in extra time to help Madrid overcome Celta Vigo in the Round of 16.

Endrick on His Real Madrid Journey

Speaking to UOL (via Football Espana), Endrick shared his thoughts on adapting to life at one of the world’s biggest clubs:

“Here, I am playing alongside many incredible players who could be considered the best in the world. It’s amazing to have them by my side, helping me grow. But I know I have to improve in every aspect—both in matches and training—to be at their level.”

Acknowledging the pressure, he added: “Being part of Real Madrid is an honor, but also a challenge.”

A Star in the Making

While breaking into the starting XI under Carlo Ancelotti is no easy feat, Endrick has already shown glimpses of brilliance. If he continues his impressive trajectory, his time to shine as a Madrid regular may come sooner than expected.
